This is probably my new favorite place to hang out right now, I found it just as I do a lot of

the places I blog...open up the world map and randomly teleport to a sim and see what happens.

I was PLEASANTLY surprised to see this one.

This IS an Adult sim so if you aren't verified..just do so for dog's sake.

Anyways, I sat here for some time yesterday listening to the chouchouc music and

iming folk. good times.

When Selenium Pulse was around, I blogged it here several times.

The creator was so happy to see people enjoying their works that they

would often send me the things they had on display at their sim. I loved the stuff so

much but I've always just had land for my stores. Well, I recently purchased a small plot

for decorating and I knew I wanted to use some of the things that they had sent me.

With Selenium Pulse now gone, I feel I can still have a piece of that sim as my own.

I'm blogging it so that you can enjoy it as well.

I would like to add that I'll be changing the parcel in a few weeks.

So, a few years back I was a cute lil avatar in there.com. I was also

a part of a community of pirates in a neighborhood (there.com term for sim)

called Pirates Keep. When there.com closed last year many people

lost their home. Julia the owner of Pirates Keep decided to find

a new home and they found it here in Second Life.

What was once a few "hoods" has blossomed into a 12 sim

Pirate Paradise.

Just a few words for anyone willing to read them. As you know, SL can be an expensive place, this is why a lot of sims that you see are either commercial sims or residential sims. Yea, there are a few sims on the grid that
are for roleplaying and/or exploration but I've found these to be few and far between..in comparison of course. I like to revisit many of the sims that I blog and it makes me really sad when a lot of them have disappeared. So, I guess the point of this post is to remind everyone when and if you visit and place and you love it, remember to donate a little bit to it, even if its 10L, that way we can help keep the grid not only an awesome place to buy virtual goods but also a beautiful place to explore.

I blogged this sim a few weeks back and to my dismay it was shut down.

I contacted the creator/owner of the sim to let them know that

they had a real treasure on their hands and the sim would be missed.

I received an IM in world letting me know that it is going to

be brought back and rebuilt. Here is a sneak peak of the new Selenium Pulse.

It looks awesome. I can't wait to see it finished.
